This week was a little less intense than last week when it came to breaking nerdy news. There are a few updates following Marvel’s Phase 3 announcement, plus the lead-up to Doctor Who’s Series 8 finale, a cute new trailer and an announcement I’m really looking forward to some terribly exciting news.

Ever since Edgar Wright left the project, my interest in Ant-Man has been decreasing exponentially, but it has since come back to my radar with the news that Peggy will make an appearance in it. I really hope the theory laid out in this article turns out to be true.

“I can’t believe it,” Snicket said from an undisclosed location. “After years of providing top-quality entertainment on demand, Netflix is risking its reputation and its success by associating itself with my dismaying and upsetting books.”
THR reports that Netflix will be adapting Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events into a TV show. Thank you Netflix!
