Happy Friday! Another busy week of 2015 down. March has just crept up on me and I will be turning 25 on Monday. I’m also starting a new job next week so the blog might take a backseat until I get my bearings. In the meantime, here are a few fun things we’ve done recently:

We went to the Insurgent Premiere in Toronto and Jai Courtney was there (which was the best part of the whole experience)!

While I didn’t celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this year as much as I used to, at least a little green beer was had:

Happy Friday! Another hectic week has come and gone. I for one am planning on catching up on sleep and hopefully (FINALLY) start the 3rd season of House of Cards. Here are a few of my favorite things from the past couple of days:

Happy Friday! It’s an even happier one considering the three-day weekend ahead of us. I’m so excited to spend Valentine’s Day with friends, watch some Oscar-nominated movies and nap.
Definitely needed a pint to get through the week, even with my day off Wednesday.

We’re planning on watching “The F Word”, decorating sugar cookies and playing board games, including Dixit tomorrow. Hope you have a great weekend as well!

Happy Friday! You can tell just how busy I was this week by the lateness of this post. Oh well, better than never 😉 This weekend I’ll be trying to squeeze in as much sleep as possible in between Winterlicious & a housewarming party. But first, here are some highlights from my week:

My Seahawks & The Fashion They Inspire

That NFC Championship Game tested my heart. From the unbelievably awful first half to the even more unlikely comeback, I was cheering like crazy. My Hawks are going back to the Super Bowl and I could not be happier. No matter the outcome, I’m just glad we even made it back to back years, a feat in itself. If you’re a Seahawks fan like myself, or if you just can’t stand the Patriots, here are a few ways to show your allegiance:

1. Navy eyeliner

4. The cutest beanie that I’m pretty sure is sold out but you can find others styles here.

TGIF! Today is my last day of work in 2014. I get 2 weeks off and will be leaving for Montreal tomorrow. I can’t wait to see my family and friends. I’ll also be taking some time off from the blog and will be back and better than ever in 2015! In the meantime, here’s how I spent my week:

Christmas Gift Guide 2014: Fandom

Happy New Comic Book Day! Part Three of my gift guide series continues with today’s post on all the geeky gifts your nerdy heart would want:

1. No matter what fandom you’re a part of, there is definitely a Funko Pop! figure for you. I like to get mine from Paradise Comics.

2. I would be a terrible girlfriend if I didn’t recommend the 4th volume of Kill Shakespeare collecting “The Mask of Night” run, with the back-up story written by the boyfriend. You can get your copy starting Wednesday next week from Paradise as well. End of shameless plug.

3. My love of baking and Star Wars come together for the perfect gift.

4. This game is perfect for the board game lover in your circle, beginner or veteran. Very simple concept with gorgeous art, board and pieces. In my opinion, better than the original.

5. Who wouldn’t want ice shaped like Daleks and TARDISes?

6. I wish I had gotten the box set rather than getting them individually, but now I can give them to a friend.
